We require valid government ID, social security card, and for CNA positions, an active NC CNA certification. PCA applicants benefit from training but we also provide orientation. A TB test and CPR certification are required before starting client care.

Yes! We provide ongoing in-service training, CPR renewal assistance, and access to continuing education. New caregivers undergo thorough onboarding and shadowing.

Absolutely. We offer flexible scheduling. You can share your availability, and we do our best to match you with shifts that fit your lifestyle — weekdays, weekends, overnights, or part-time.

We hire throughout The Caring Village and surrounding counties: Mecklenburg, Gaston, Union, Cabarrus, Lincoln, Cleveland, Iredell, Rowan, and more. We match caregivers with clients near their homes.

The process typically takes 1-2 weeks after completing your application, background check, and orientation. We'll keep you updated every step of the way.

Yes, a negative TB test (within the last year) is required before providing care. We can provide guidance on where to obtain one if needed.

We recommend professional, comfortable attire. Scrubs are welcome but not mandatory; clean, neat casual wear is acceptable for most assignments.

Yes. Our clinical team and nurse supervisor are available 24/7 for emergencies and support. You're never alone on the job.

Your safety comes first. We train de-escalation techniques. In any unsafe situation, step back, call 911 if needed, and immediately contact our on-call supervisor. Aggressive behavior is not tolerated.
